I believe that learning the language before they move to Korea would be very useful. I had an amazing time overall, but knowing the language would enhance the experience of being part of the culture and open a Pandora's Box of opportunity and engagement. When I return to Korea, I will make sure to have a good understanding of the language.

From an academic point of view, definitely the invaluable experience I gained by being able to work in an architectural firm and learning the ropes of how a firm operates. From a personal point of view, the immersion of being in South Korea and being able to gain new insights into Korean culture was invaluable.

Singapore is a city-state country with very strict laws. People there came from different countries and they are generally very nice and friendly. People I worked with was very warm hearted and they will help you to overcome the cultural shock and fit in everyday work/life.
