Program Reviews:
Summer 2025 Participant
For future students, it would be especially helpful to strengthen Rhino skills before starting this internship, as the software is used frequently in collaborative projects. It’s also important to be prepared for the language barrier. Many people may not speak English fluently, so patience, adaptability, and openness to different forms of communication are key.

Personally, this study abroad option is really great if you’re wanting to learn about architecture, urban design, and transportation in East Asian countries. South Korea excels in all three and the faculty and staff that help organize the study abroad program really know what they’re talking about.

It was incredibly rewarding to not only learn from my Korean coworkers but also to share aspects of American culture with them. The cultural exchange between my coworkers and us Americans created a mutual learning experience that strengthened our collaboration and built meaningful connections beyond the workplace.
