My favorite part of the program was the opportunity to interact directly with professionals in real-world settings. Being able to visit companies, ask questions, and observe how people work in an international environment made the experience much more meaningful than learning in a classroom alone. I especially appreciated hearing about different career paths and how individuals built their experiences across countries. It helped me see how global perspectives can shape professional growth in a very practical way.

The most rewarding element of the program was the combination of preparation and real-world exposure. The pre-departure sessions helped me develop the skills to engage more intentionally, such as asking thoughtful questions and reflecting on my experiences. Once in London, I was able to apply those skills in real time. This balance made the experience more impactful because I was not just observing, but actively learning and connecting with professionals. It also allowed me to better understand how cross-cultural communication works in practice.

My favorite part of this program was the fact that it was a professional trip. It was a realistic trip if you decide to move abroad. You work and then you go do what you want in your freetime. The trip allowed you to learn more about yourself and if living abroad is a true goal for you, for you to see what you would do while you are in the country of your choice. I appreciated mingling with former Jayhawks, because when you travel a lot, oftentimes, there aren't many people who know where you "come from". I appreciated talking with them because ti made me feel that the Jayhawk network is so wide and interested in being open.
