One of the most important lessons I learned on this program is the value of being experimental. Stepping out of my comfort zone, trying new things, and embracing unfamiliar experiences opened doors to personal growth and discovery. I would encourage future students to approach their study abroad adventures with an open mind and a willingness to explore beyond their boundaries.

I learned that, although my major isn't exactly business-oriented, having a specialization in anything can be beneficial to any company or organization - even if you can't see how that might be. For example, as a creative writing major I wasn't exactly sure what I would get out of our meetings with various companies, but I learned that my overall skills as a writer and a creative can play a significant role in a variety of departments. You don't know where you might fit in unless you make an effort to learn more and make connections.

One of the most important things I learned is that you get out of the program what you put into it. It is important to go in with clear goals, be open to new experiences, and actively engage with the people you meet. Asking questions, being curious, and reflecting on what you learn each day can significantly enhance the experience. I also learned that you do not need to have everything figured out beforehand. The program is a great opportunity to explore different interests and perspectives.
