Program Reviews:
Spring 2025 Participant
What I found most rewarding about the program was establishing a community for myself in a place that was new and unfamiliar. I loved that everyday was an adventure because it was different than what I was used to. Cork was the perfect city to explore solo or with a group of friends. I always felt like it was safe and felt a sense of community with the other international students.

Spring 2025 Participant
I learned a sense of independence and discovery. Putting myself into new and sometimes uncomfortable environments helped me learn about not only the vast world that we live in but also about myself. This experience forced me to do things on my own in new ways that I wasn't used to. I had to make friends in a community that wasn't already established for me, because of that I felt like I was able to learn so much about myself. Out of this I learned an important lesson that also relates to something a lecturer told me in my Clinical Psychology class at UCC - stress is the belief that you cannot handle what's coming, and if you can handle moving to another county, you can handle anything.

Spring 2024 Participant
UCC has a very large population of international students from all over the world who come to study abroad there. One of the most rewarding parts of this program was getting to meet people from all walks of life and experience other cultures.
