Program Reviews:
Summer 2025 Participant
The KU Criminal Justice study abroad program was genuinely life changing, and it would have been a massive mistake not to go on the trip. Seeing everything that I have been studying at KU being applied to the real world in such an immersive way was very rewarding. Just walking around London and taking in the rich culture sparked such an interest in me, which I have been able to bring back with me and apply to my classes back at school. So far this semester upon coming back from London, I have constantly found myself thinking back on London and relating my curriculum back to the absolutely amazing experience I had in London.

The thing that I found the most rewarding was doing research on the places we went to before the trip, and then getting to actually see those places in person. The research we did on the criminal justice system in the United Kingdom provided a good foundation of knowledge going into the trip. Getting to actually see these places and learn about them in London provided a much deeper and more in depth analysis of another country's criminal justice system.

One of my favorite parts of this program was traveling alongside students and faculty that share similar academic interests. Exploring new places through a shared lens made the experience incredibly enriching and fun!
