Program Reviews:
Winter Break 2022 Participant
I worked in the tournament office responding to guest inquiries on the phone. We got to be part of a daily briefing for how the event operations were running. We also got to help with registration for the amateur event, the honorary observer process, inventory management, shipping for tournament prizes, and more. It was a really great look into event operations. "You know an event is running smoothly because it is quiet. People are enjoying the tournament and your planning is successful."

I loved getting to meet other students in the KU Sport Management Master's Program. We had an amazing group of people and it was a lot fun. The program is online so I had only met students before via Zoom. Similarly, because I am not on campus, I loved meeting all the students and professors. One of my favorite parts is that everyone had different personalities but we all worked together to successfully pull off an event. The PGA Tour and Sentry Tournament of Champions staff were all very welcoming. I learned a ton from them about event operations.

I found it rewarding to know that I did something to further my career.
