Our final project and essay allowed me to step outside of my comfort zone. We had to talk to local Italians and I spoke to some of the nicest people I've ever met that week. I'm glad I got a true sense of what it's like to live in Rome.

My favorite part of the "Creativity and Culture in Rome, Italy" program was the flexibility we had day to day and during our free weekends. It allowed me to visit beautiful monuments, the beach, and other amazing cities! I am very grateful for Dr. Rose, she gave us the BEST advice on where to go, what to eat, etc.

I learned that even though the culture shock is real, you should just go for it. Getting out of my comfort zone was the hardest thing for me, but in the end I knew more about myself and the culture I was in.
