Program Description:

Each year, several Krehbiel German Summer Language Institute Scholarships are awarded to University of Kansas students participating in the German Summer Language Institute study abroad programs in Eutin and Holzkirchen, Germany. These scholarships are made possible through the generous contributions of Carl C. Krehbiel, who participated in the Holzkirchen program in 1968. One of the scholarships is awarded annually in memory of the late KU alumnus L. Neil Slentz, who was also a participant in the Holzkirchen program in 1968.
