KU students who qualify for financial aid in the form of Stafford and/or other loans, Federal Grants, and KU or outside scholarships may apply the aid to the cost of a study abroad program.

My favorite part of the program was the amount of independence we were given. We had suggested tours and cultural events, classes, etc., but we had full autonomy in what we wanted to pursue. I was able to take classes in any department, and study things that I may not have had the opportunity to at home. The friends I also made were from all around the world, and the relationships with my professors helped my experience immensely. Second favorite thing, food.
