These fees are the estimated costs for Summer 2023.
- KU Tuition includes 3 credit hours of undergraduate Tuition based on Kansas Resident Standard Tuition rate. Graduate students will pay the graduate resident tuition rate. Non-KU Students will pay KU Tuition based on the Standard Tuition rate stated above.
- KU Required fee includes administrative fees, emergency medical evacuation and repatriation services, and KU orientation.
- KU Program fee includes accommodation in hotels (double to triple room occupancy) with breakfast, on-site bus transfers, transportation to field sites, boat transfers to the islands, entrance fees to archaeological sites, some group dinners and domestic (in Greece) air travel.
- All other fees listed are estimated additional expenses. Additional meals listed is the total for $25 a day for 21 days. The actual total cost will vary for each participant depending on spending habits and travel plans.
- Geology majors are eligible to apply for departmental field travel scholarships. Contact Prof. George Tsoflias for additional information.
Funding your Study Abroad Program
- KU Study Abroad can do personalized financial aid and scholarship advising for students. Book a virtual advising appointment.
- KU students who qualify for financial aid in the form of Federal and/or other loans, Federal Grants, and KU or outside scholarships may apply the aid to the cost of a study abroad program.
