These fees are the estimated costs for Summer 2019 and fees may vary based on funding availability.

Passports are required for the program. Students who already have a passport with a expiration date after November 29, 2019, will not need to apply for a passport.
 
  • KU Tuition includes estimated KS Resident Standard Tuition rate for 3 credit hours. Exact tuition rates may vary. (Students may also enroll for 1 or 2 credits).
  • TRiO students will have the KU tuition costs waived. 
  • Adidas Leadership Scholars can apply for Summer financial assistance.
  • Multicultural Scholars can apply for one study abroad/travel scholarship during their undergraduate career.
  • KU Program Fee includes lodging, on-site excursions, local transportation, and some group dinners.
  • All students will receive a $400 Study Abroad scholarship to cover OSA required fee.
  • All other fees listed are estimated additional expenses. The actual total cost will vary for each participant depending on spending habits and travel plans.
This program may be eligible for summer Pell Grant funding. Scholarships, grants, and federal financial aid are only available to degree-seeking students.
 

Funding your Study Abroad Program
KU Study Abroad can do personalized financial aid and scholarship advising for students.  Please visit 108 Lippincott Hall or call 785-864-3742 to set up an appointment.  KU students who qualify for financial aid in the form of Federal and/or other loans, Federal Grants, and KU or outside scholarships may apply the aid to the cost of a study abroad program.  
KU Study Abroad supplemental scholarships are available to KU degree seeking students. Applications are available online. The scholarship application deadline is March 1 for Summer, March 15 for Fall and Academic Year programs, and October 1 for Spring, Winter Break and Spring Break programs.
