Funding your Study Abroad Program
- KU Tuition includes one semester of $40 placeholder enrollment fee (FRSP enrollment).
- The KU Required Fee includes administrative fees, AIG supplemental medical insurance and emergency evacuation & repatriation services for dates of program, and KU orientation.
- The CIMBA Program Fee includes tuition for 12-18 undergraduate credit hours, a double-occupancy room in an on-campus residence hall, meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the campus cafeteria), textbook rental, wifi on campus and in living facilities, laundry tokens and soap, towels and linens (changed weekly), housecleaning, international travel insurance (including health and emergency evacuation), bus transportation to and from campus for program start and end (dependent on flight arrival time), 2 gourmet Italian meals at a fine-dining restaurant, Cultural exploration activities (excludes independent travel), certificates and programs in leadership and personal development, and company tours. The CIMBA Program Fee will be billed through the University of Iowa. All other costs listed are estimates for items that students will pay for directly. The actual total cost will vary for each participant depending on spending habits and travel plans.
Funding your Study Abroad Program
- KU Study Abroad offers personalized financial aid and scholarship advising for students. Book a virtual advising appointment. KU students who qualify for financial aid in the form of Federal and/or other loans, Federal Grants, and KU or outside scholarships may apply the aid to the cost of a study abroad program.
