My favorite part of the program was the blend of academic and cultural exploration. Visiting renowned companies allowed me to gain insights into Spain's business environment, while trips to landmarks like Park Güell and the Royal Palace of Madrid helped me appreciate the country’s rich history and architectural beauty.

The faculty and selected group of classmates made this experience extremely special. It was both an amazing learning opportunity and experience to travel in great company. I felt our group held each other accountable and pushed one another to be our best on the trip and moving forward. We formed new friendships and created life long memories with old ones. The faculty gave us the chance to obtain knowledge from very insightful business men and women from a variety of fields while also allowing us the opportunity to see the culture of Spain. Without their planning, inclusiveness, and motivation our group would not of had the same experience.

The most rewarding elements of the program were the opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings during company visits and the chance to build cross-cultural connections. Experiencing Spain’s diverse regions firsthand helped me grow academically and personally, fostering adaptability and global awareness.

I learned to prioritize your health and well-being while on the trip. There can be very long days and lots of walking, so making sure you feel your best will help you get the most out of the trip.

I learned that no matter how uncomfortable or nervous you might feel about studying abroad, eating different cuisine or making new friends, you should do it and experience how great it is. I was surprised to find how many friends I would make, foods I enjoyed, and cultural differences I preferred over American culture.
