I loved being able to live in student housing and the fact that classes often involved working in groups. It is difficult to connect with others in a new place when working singularly, so I was glad that it was not like that.

I thought the most rewarding part of this program was to experience a new place on my own. I was able to live in a new country with some similar features of my home country, but was also able to travel in a way I had never experienced before. I visited so many cool places I never would have visited without this program.

Metric system! The UK, although roads and directions are still measured in the imperial system, uses the metric system in architectural practice, which I think was very helpful in making me more worldly for future employers and experiences.
