My favorite part of this program was the opportunity to immerse myself in Italian culture while studying at a prestigious university in Milan. Living and learning in such a vibrant city allowed me to interact with locals, practice my Italian language skills, and experience the day-to-day life of a different culture. Additionally, the friendships I built with other international students and locals made this experience unforgettable.

My favorite part of this specific ISEP program in Milan was attending Cattolica. It was a beautiful campus that was very inviting from the start. There was a separate building for the international students which was very helpful and easy for all students studying abroad. Through studying here, I met people who I am going to be friends with for the rest of my life.

The most rewarding element of the program was the balance between academic growth and cultural enrichment. Studying alongside students from diverse backgrounds broadened my perspective, while exploring Milan and other parts of Italy enriched my understanding of history, art, and Italian traditions. Furthermore, the opportunity to improve my Italian language skills in real-world settings was incredibly fulfilling.

One of the most valuable lessons I learned on this program is the importance of adaptability and cultural awareness. Living in a foreign country comes with its challenges, but it also teaches you how to navigate different environments and perspectives. Future students should embrace the experience with an open mind, engage with locals, and take every opportunity to practice the language—it will enhance their experience exponentially.

Be prepared to do a lot of work. A lot of time and effort has to be put into the study abroad process and, although it's all worth it in the end, a lot of preparation has to be done, along with time dedicated.
