Working with the head of marketing for Arsenal Football Club was a thrill as well as an exceptional bit of experience.

My favorite part of the program was being able to see and be a part of places that we have studied and to be able to do it with a group of people your age with the same interests.

I loved that we got to do volunteer work that applies to our major allowing me to gain a lot of experience I can use for my future career choice.

My favorite part of this program was having the opportunity to receive hands-on experiences like working with the New Zealand Breakers and working the ASB tournament.

My favorite part of the program was that it was based on experiences. We were not stuck in a classroom half the time. We had a chance to get to see what the sports industry is like in New Zealand and learn hands how the industry works.

The most rewarding part of this trip was the cultural immersion that occurs through out. After returning home, I wanted to go back. This trip gave me the travel bug.

It was most rewarding to be able to travel in foreign countries and solve various challenges that we would face as far as language and culture barriers.

I thought it was awesome to just be submerged into a new culture and allow myself to learn about not only sports but the way another community of people lives and works together.

I found the interactions to be the most rewarding part of the experience. We were able to speak with and ask questions to Event Managers, CEO/Owners, General Managers, and Professors. They were each able to provide us with different views on global sport and gave advice for our own career path through the industry.

I found the hands-on experience to be the most rewarding part of the program. This made it so interesting and very easy to learn. The fact that we were in their facilities and talking to executives gave us a lot of inside information we might not have other wise found out.

Embrace the culture surrounding you. Things will be different than you're used to; that's the beauty of it. Do not go on this trip if you aren't looking to challenge your personal comforts.

I learned to enjoy your time and take advantage of being in a cool new place! Whenever we had free time we would go explore even if we were tired. No time for long naps!

The face-to-face interaction with foreign nations was instrumental to a successful trip. We were able to learn how sports are ran around the world.

I learned how to get my foot in the door when it comes to working in sports internationally. I also learned about a different culture and how sports differ around the world!
