My favorite part of the program was experiencing the unique beauty and adventures that each city had to offer. There was such a variety of activities to take part in and each day brought something new.

As a non-traditional student, I had no idea what to expect. We saw so many aspects of India; we were exposed to a wide range of religious experience, a few tourist sites, food, and Indian cultural experiences. I felt like I was able to capture a glimpse of a country that I would very much like to go back to. This program was amazing and exceeded my expectations!

The itinerary overall was spectacular. Highly recommend the partnership the program coordinators made with the Indogenius group

My favorite part was getting to experience something so different than what I'm used to. This trip put me way out of my comfort zone. Sometimes that doesn't work for people, but because I was able to accept that it would it became such a huge learning experience. The people in India put so much love in all that they do and I was so impressed by all of the hospitality I was shown.

The element of the program that I found most rewarding was the meetings we had with the many different incredible women leaders of India. We had interactions with such a great variety of people- from social workers to business women to religious leaders to a Princess. It was a very well rounded and eye opening experience.

The cultural experiences which spanned from tiny villages to a mammoth city. We were able to see life in poor areas and we stayed in a 5-star hotel.

I was lucky to meet a range of women with inspiring stories of struggle and strife and not only listened to their tales but heard and felt their fire and determination in my heart. I've brought home passion, knowledge, lessons, and a broader world view that would be helpful to any student in the U.S as we become an ever globalized nation.

Expect to be shocked, and amazed by what India has to see.

I learned that when you're abroad, especially in a less developed country, you must be patient and flexible. Things will always take longer/won't go exactly as planned and you just have to be okay with that. Also, don't come into the trip with expectations-- they will be way different than the reality that you experience and it would be a shame if you let them ruin the trip.
