Italy : Reviews (Trento)

The University of Trento had a wide array of international students from all over the globe, challenging me to make friends outside of the United States. I learned about countless different cultures and truly immersed myself in the perspective-gaining aspects of study abroad.

Challenging myself to be in a new country, with no one I knew, and where everyone spoke a different language was very intimidating at first, but it helped me grow more confident in myself and my ability to handle difficult situations. I never would have developed friendships with individuals across the globe if I hadn't put myself out there.

Being open to new perspectives is essential for any field of work, and studying abroad challenged me to see situations through the eyes of varying cultures. It also forced me to become independent and confident in my ability to handle challenging situations.
