My favorite part of the program was how easy it was to adjust to life in Australia. All of the students and faculty were very patient and helpful when I had questions.

I found the classes that I took to be the most interesting part of the program. A few of the classes I took had practicals where you were able to do a lot of hands on work which helped the information sink in better.

I learned that while Deakin is a great school overall, it was not the best location for students without cars. That being said, it was very easy to find Australian friends willing to give rides to get things like groceries.

I learned how much my studying at the University of Kansas has paid off due to the fact that I have been challenged enough and have created good study habits which contributed to my success at Deakin University.
