Online Application Instructions

In order to apply for the exchange program at the University of Kansas, you must first be nominated by your home university. After being nominated by your home institution to take part in the exchange program at the University of Kansas, you will need to complete a University of Kansas Study Abroad & Global Engagement application.

Once you have been accepted, you will receive an acceptance packet from the University of Kansas, Study Abroad.  This packet will include your acceptance letter and your DS-2019. After you have received your acceptance packet, you will need to create an account on the KU Study Abroad website.

To start this process you must click the "Apply Now" button on this brochure page and go through the steps to create a login/user name and password to access the site as a KU Exchange student.

Once you successfully log on to the site you will need to choose the term in which you will be attending the University of Kansas. You will then need to answer questions related to your academics.  Once these forms are completed, they will be checked off your application page.  All these forms should be filled out as soon as possible.
